Just before 7 a.m. Monday, a Washington Township school bus and three other vehicles were involved in a crash at the intersection of 65th Street and Keystone Avenue. According to IFD, witnesses say the accident happened when a Washington Township school bus turned in front of a Chevy HHR. Three teens in the HHR were all sent to the hospital in serious condition. Two other vehicles were involved in the accident. Officials say the school bus had no children on board at the time of the crash.

Two people were injured in a crash in Cass County when the driver fell asleep. Kyle Hopkins was driving west on U.S. 12 east of Birch Road in Porter Township, west of White Pigeon, around 11:13 p.m. Sunday. When he dozed off, the vehicle crossed the center line, went off the road and overturned, according to a news release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Department. Hopkins, 17, from Sturgis, and his passenger, 21-year-old Frank Tenny-Button of Sturgis, were transported to a hospital.

A 17-year-old from the Woodlands is facing charges for a crash that sent two other teenagers to the hospital. Authorities say Tyler Schlegel was behind the wheel of a car illegally racing on Gosling Road when the cars hit each other and one crashed into a tree. According to investigators, while one teen was trapped inside and the other was searching for help, Schlegel took his car and parked it down the street. Police say when he was identified as a driver, he tried to run. He was quickly arrested.

Milford and Pleasant Dale communities are stunned after a rollover crash nearby kills a minor and injures two others. The Seward County Sheriff's Office say 14-year-old Trevyn Michael Roth of Milford died at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle. Officials say the rollover happened at 7 PM Thursday near 175th and Denton Road. The other two victims are also minors. One had to be flown to Bryan West. The other was transported by ambulance to a hospital. Officials are unsure whether or not the teens were wearing their seatbelts. The investigation continues.

One man is dead and a 15-year-old driver is in custody after a scooter and motor vehicle collided in Mesa. The accident at Alma School and University was initially treated as a hit-and-run. Mesa police say the unidentified teen appears to have only had a learner's permit to drive and could be facing charges for fleeing the scene after the Wednesday afternoon accident. The name of the victim, who was in his 20s, has not yet been released.

An Inverness teen who was driving an ATV without headlights or a helmet died in a crash in Citrus County on Monday evening. Florida Highway Patrol investigators say at about 8:39 p.m., 17-year-old Alexander Terraciano was driving the ATV on County Road 581. A 2003 Honda Civic driven by Barbara Jean Cross, 38, of Hernando, was driving behind Terraciano and hit the back of the ATV. Terraciano died at the scene of the crash. No charges were filed in connection with the crash.

A Middle Tennessee man is facing charges after a crash in Florida killed another man from Tennessee. A car collided with a scooter Sunday night in Panama City Beach. The man on the scooter, 22-year-old Brandon Beverly, of Knoxville, was killed. The driver of the car, 18-year-old Bruce George, of Nolensville, was arrested and charged with DUI manslaughter. Police aren't saying whether the two knew each other, but additional charges against George are pending.

Two Vancouver teens were injured Monday afternoon in a crash along state Highway 500 in east Clark County. Manika Southavilay, 18, was driving a Toyota Avalon south on Northeast 160th Avenue in the Heritage Neighborhood. She turned left, to head east on state Highway 500, in front of a westbound Kia Amanti driven by Aurora Sackos, 17. The two cars collided, temporarily blocking the roadway. One of the drivers was found trapped inside her vehicle. Southavilay and Sackos were both transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.

A pickup truck slammed into a Subway restaurant Monday afternoon in north Harris County. Police say a teenager was driving the truck when it crashed into the restaurant on FM 1960. We're told a customer was taken to the hospital, and one person was treated for injuries at the scene. No word on the cause of the crash.

A 17-year-old was injured when he crashed his pickup truck Sunday. Police say he had looked down to read a text message. It happened around 10:10 a.m. Sunday on Adolph Road north of Sid Road in Union Township, near Union City. Authorities say Jason Hartley’s S-10 pickup truck crashed head-on into a tree about 200 feet from the road. Hartley, 17, of Burlington was taken to the Branch County Community Health Center for treatment of his injuries. His condition Sunday night was not known.
