Robert J. Dyer, 24, of Coeur d’Alene, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro westbound when the car struck and killed Scott A. Moore, 56, of Priest River, Idaho, who had pulled over and was assisting with another car that had been in a crash, according to a WSP news release.
All the persons involved in the crash, including the man killed, were students at Washington State University. Troopers said a vehicle was traveling westbound on Interstate 90 when the vehicle lost control on icy roads around 10:40 a.m.
Fiona M. Regan, 40, of Tenino was driving a 1994 Isuzu Trooper north on Smith Prairie Road Southeast just north of 161st Way Southeast at 9:41 p.m. when she allegedly fell asleep at the wheel. The car crossed the center lane into oncoming traffic and hit a 1994 Isuzu Amigo.
A 27-year-old man died and two others were injured Friday night in a four-car collision on state Route 9 near Lake Stevens. The crash, which involved four cars, occurred just north of State Route 204 at approximately 10:45 p.m.
