A man, 20, was airlifted to University Hospital after a crash that shut down the eastbound lanes of Loop 1604 on Monday before 11:30 a.m.

A collision on Interstate 5 south of Joint Base Lewis-McChord has killed one person when a pickup truck in the northbound lanes crossed the median into the southbound lanes and hit a box truck and a semi truck. The driver of the semi truck was killed. Two people in the box truck were uninjured.

One person was killed just after midnight Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 17, officials said.

A small passenger car and a large truck collided about 12:15 a.m. on southbound I-17 at Dixileta Road, according to the Department of Public Safety.

A semi hauling two fuel tankers overturned in Vancouver early Friday morning, spilling fuel into storm drains and into the yard of a nearby apartment complex. The truck crashed at around 1:30 a.m. on Northeast 18th Street at Northeast 119th Street, according the Vancouver Fire Department.
