An accident in Pend Oreille County involving two semi trucks killed one driver Friday evening. The Washington State Patrol said James C. Morton, 51, was killed after the truck he was driving crossed the centerline and tipped over on a curve on State Route 20 north of Cusick.
Two people were injured Tuesday morning when a dump truck and minivan collided off state Route 18 and rolled into a ditch. The incident, which occurred at 6:20 a.m., caused hours of back-ups in the Issaquah area while the scene was cleaned up. Neither driver involved was wearing a seat belt.
