Barrie Jones was driving on a road in Poplar, Monatna at about 3 a.m. when she lost control of the vehicle on a curve and went off the road. She hit a shallow ditch and rolled, sustaining injuries that ultimately took her life.

An oil train derailed near the small town of Heimdal, and 10 of the tanker cars caught fire, creating thick black smoke filling the area. The residents of the nearby town were asked to evacuate. The incident is still under investigation.

Cassie Shaw was driving on State Highway 1804 when her car went into a ditch, became airborne, landed, and rolled. Authorities say foggy conditions caused her to not see a curve before it was too late. She died at the scene.

The man, from Elkhorn, Neb., was driving a motorcycle on a Ward County road near Minot on Thursday afternoon when he failed to yield at an intersection and collided with the truck. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the crash site.

On Monday, Matthew Samson's Jeep went through a yield sign, and was hit by a semi south of Des Lacs, North Dakota. Samson was brought to Trinity Hospital in Minot but died from his inuries on Tuesday.

 

Sometime in the evening, Madden lost control of his pickup truck on an icy stretch of Highway 85 and the car spun into the path of opposing traffic. Another pickup truck then struck Madden's, before it was struck by a semi-truck.

A 34-year-old woman from Nebraska has died, and two have been injured following a two-car collision on Highway 5 near Plentywood, Montana. The accident occured on Tuesday, October 21 around 6:10 p.m.

One man was killed and another man was injured when a vehicle struck a commercial truck 11 miles north of Rugby. The driver of the truck, Darek Falcon, 34, was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was injured.
