David Myers, 56, a Dallas Police Department officer, killed, after his motorcycle fell off a wooden trestle on West Road in Waxahachie, and crashed into a dry creek bed.
A Dallas police officer is dead after a motorcycle crash in Waxahachie on Wednesday.
The crash happened at about 1:40 p.m. on West Road.
The driver lost control of the motorcycle while crossing a wooden trestle bridge and fell into a dry creek bed where he lost his life, according to the Department of Public Safety.
Sr. Cpl. David Myers, 56, was a 27-year veteran with the Dallas Police Department, was killed in the crash.
It is unknown was caused Myers to lose control.
