A woman and child were injured early Friday morning in a one-vehicle crash south of Oak Harbor. Both were taken to Whidbey General Hospital in Coupeville. The driver, 48, is under investigation for vehicular assault. Troopers believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

A semi truck hauling two FedEx trailers initiated a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 405 overnight, leaving two people injured. Arriving at the scene, troopers and medics found a semi truck and trailers lying on their side at the exit. Three other damaged vehicles also were at the scene.

A 69-year-old pedestrian hit by a car in Seattle’s Fairmount Park Neighborhood Sunday night has died. About 9:15 p.m., a Ford sedan was traveling northbound on 35th Avenue Southwest. As the Ford entered the intersection of Southwest Graham Street, the Ford struck a pedestrian, police said.
