Washington has 39 Superior Courts, one in each of Washington's 39 counties. Superior Courts are the trial courts of general jurisdiction in Washington. A Superior Court may consider all civil and criminal matters occurring within a county's boundary. The Superior Court also has exclusive jurisdiction over civil matters in which the amount in controversy is more than $75,000, felony cases, estate and probate matters, family law cases(including divorces and child custody hearings), and juvenile proceedings. A Battle Ground suffered minor injuries in three-vehicle fender bender on state Highway 503 this morning. Three pickups were driving south on the highway in Vancouver when one of the vehicles, a Toyota Tacoma pickup, crashed into a Ford Ranger pickup that had stopped abruptly.

The State Patrol said five vehicles were involved. One vehicle was the first car to spin out on ice and a chain reaction of four other vehicle collisions started.

Three-vehicle collision blocks Highway 99 traffic for 2 hours

Highway 99 in Hazel Dell was blocked for about two hours Thursday evening after a three-car collision.

Nobody was injured in the collision, but both directions of the highway were closed near Northeast 112th Street because there was debris and gasoline on the roadway.

Motorcyclist injured in crash on SR 512

A 54-year-old motorcyclist lost control of his Harley Davidson and went off the road in the eastbound lanes of state Route 512 at 94th Street near the South Hill Mall, according to the Washington State Patrol.
