Leesburg City Commissioner Jay Hurley won't face criminal charges in an accident that killed a motorcyclist during Bikefest in April.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said they are looking for the driver of a car after a pedestrian was struck and killed around 2:48 a.m., Saturday.

Troopers said the accident happened on U.S. Highway 441 at Wakulla Way after a pedestrian ran out into the highway.

State troopers are investigating a fatal vehicle accident in Cherokee County.

Investigators say Thomas Gaylor, 55, of Cedar Bluff, was killed at 5:35 a.m. April 16 when his vehicle collided with another one on U.S. 411 five miles north of Centre.

The investigation is on going.

An accident along Highway 411 Saturday night leaves one woman dead and three children and another person injured. According to the Blount County Sheriff's Office, authorities received a call around 6:44 p.m. near Ridgeway Trail on Highway 411.

A young couple died Friday afternoon when they were ejected from a Smart car after it was struck by a Chevrolet Camaro, then a Chevrolet Cavalier on U.S. Highway 441, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
