Latosha Nicole Leathers was driving north on U.S. 71 with two children in the car when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tractor-trailer. All three people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Amy Yates was driving on Arkansas Highway 163 just after 9:30 p.m. when she crossed into the southbound lane and hit a vehicle, drvien by Brittany Smith, head-on. Yates was killed in the crash. Smith was taken to a hospital in Jonesboro in unknown condition.
