Sun, 05/31/2015A minor was driving a Jeep east on Highway 49 when he began to turn into the Kum & Go store. He realized he was about to turn into the wrong lane and hesitated, leaving him in the middle of traffic. A car heading the other direction struck the Jeep head-on.

Wed, 05/06/2015Jeffery Lavon Ellis and his wife Sheila Kay Ellis were riding in a car on Arkanas 182 when for unkown reasons the car left the roadway and went into a ditch. The car travelled 216 feet before striking a culvert and stopping. Sheila Kay Ellis was killed in the collision.

Sat, 05/02/2015 Jason Manning, 31, of Salina, KS, was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle north on Highway 63 when for unknown reasons he crossed the center line and traveled into the path of two oncoming vehicles.

Fri, 05/01/2015A truck hauling cotton seed was traveling on Highway 49 when the vehicle overturned on a curve, spilling out its load. A passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries, but no one else was hurt. Traffic is slow in the area and officials say it may take 2 or 3 hours to clear the site.

Sat, 04/25/2015A fatal collision in Cross County Saturday morning resulted in the death of Keene Sykes, 24, of West Memphis, who was heading east on Highway 64 near Wynne when he lost control of his car, crossed into the westbound lane and collided with a vehicle driven by Kay Bennett, 20, of Batesville.

Thu, 04/23/2015David A. Davis was driving south on Highway 65 around 9:45 a.m. when a vehicle crossed into his lane and struck him head-on. Davis sustained fatal injuries.

Sat, 04/11/2015A Magnolia man in critical condition after two-vehicle collision about 4:20 p.m. Saturday in a on Calhoun Street. A Ford Ranger and a Honda sedan smashed into each other at the intersection of Calhoun and Harper, sending both vehicles into the ditch on the north side of Calhoun Street.

Fri, 04/10/2015Frankie Lemance was driving a green Ford pickup east on U.S. 64 near Lock and Dam Road in Ozark with his three children in the vehicle. Lemance appeared to have fallen asleep at the wheel and crossed the center line, colliding head-on with a black Dodge pickup driven by John Gwatney.

Wed, 04/08/2015Latosha Nicole Leathers was driving north on U.S. 71 with two children in the car when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tractor-trailer. All three people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Tue, 04/07/2015Amy Yates was driving on Arkansas Highway 163 just after 9:30 p.m. when she crossed into the southbound lane and hit a vehicle, drvien by Brittany Smith, head-on. Yates was killed in the crash. Smith was taken to a hospital in Jonesboro in unknown condition.

Sun, 04/05/2015A 73-year-old woman was killed Sunday after a head-on crash in Knobel, Arkansas. Shirley Luttrell was the driver of a Kia Sportage traveling northbound on Arkansas 135 about 5 p.m. A 1994 Ford Ranger heading south crossed the centerline and collided with Luttrell's car head-on.
