Mon, 12/01/2014A Gracemont man was a pedestrian on State Highway 9 when he was hit by a car and killed Monday night in Kiowa County. Erwin Pewo Jr., 21, was killed in the eastbound lanes of SH 9 around 8:45 p.m. Monday east of Mountain View, Oklahoma.

Sun, 11/30/2014An elderly woman is was killed and her husband injured and in critical condition after a head-on crash on Highway 60 west of Nowata. Mary Wendt, 77, was a passenger in a truck driven by her husband John Wendt, 77, who crossed the center line for an unknown reason just before 2 p.m.

Sun, 11/30/2014A 22-year-old woman was killed in a single-car accident on U.S. Highway 412 west of Highway 97 in Tulsa County. Caitlynn B. Briscoe of Stillwater was pronounced deceased at the crash scene of head and internal injuries. Briscoe was traveling eastbound at about 9 p.m.

Sun, 11/30/2014OHP is investigating a fatal crash in Muskogee County that occurred Sunday morning around 4 a.m. Joseph Kane Adair was killed after he was ejected from his vehicle. Adair was attempting to pass another vehicle when he hit the bumper of the other vehicle, lost control, and rolled 4 times.

Thu, 11/27/2014Two Fort Smith residents died Thursday after their vehicle crashed in Sequoyah County. Quentin Skiver, 32, and Diana Lozano, 28, were in a 1996 Nissan Maxima when it veered off of county road East 1120, just west of Roland, about 3:35 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle was traveling at high speed.

The car Walker was driving crossed the center line of the highway and collided with a southbound car driven by Kevin Smith, 59, of Nowata.

Sat, 11/15/2014Vinicio Mendoza and one other man left a night club in a Ford Mustang at high speed. Witnesses say they were traveling close to 80 mph at one point, in an urban area. The Mustang rear-ended a Honda Civic near 133th East Avenue. Fortunately no one in the Honda was seriously hurt.

Thu, 11/13/2014Troopers said a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling east on Highway 16 in Okmulgee County when its driver, Patches Campbell, 21, of Beggs, drove off the road, overcorrected and rolled the SUV before crashing into a telephone pole.

Mon, 11/10/2014Travis Scott Tarver, 20, of Moore was killed in a Dewey County crash when he passed a tractor-trailer, lost control of the pickup and hit a tree about 4:50 p.m. Monday on U.S. 270. He was taken to a Seiling hospital where he was pronounced dead.
