A 5-year-old was critically injured after a car hit a tree overnight in Auburn. The 21-year-old male driver and an 8-year-old girl have non-life threatening injuries. The car was traveling 90 mph when it ran off the road around 2:30 a.m. and hit a tree on Auburn Way South.

A 69-year-old pedestrian hit by a car in Seattle’s Fairmount Park Neighborhood Sunday night has died. About 9:15 p.m., a Ford sedan was traveling northbound on 35th Avenue Southwest. As the Ford entered the intersection of Southwest Graham Street, the Ford struck a pedestrian, police said.
