A New Hampshire woman is recovering from injuries suffered when her snowmobile hit a rock wall on Lake Umbagog in Errol. New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say 43-year-old Roxanne Bonney was traveling a high rate of speed across the lake when she struck exposed rocks and was thrown from her snowmobile. She was taken by ambulance to Androscoggin Valley Hospital for treatment. The accident happened at about 5 p.m. Saturday.

Burlington police said 53-year-old Leroy Gray was hit by a vehicle while walking on Apple Street near Hall Avenue. Gray told police he was walking near the Hall Avenue intersection when a dark colored mid-size vehicle turned off Hall and hit him. The vehicle continued on Apple Street toward Rauhut Street and didn’t stop. EMS crews took Gray to Alamance Regional Medical Center with a possible bone fracture in his leg.

Rescue crews responded to a four-vehicle crash at 56th and R streets Saturday morning. Lincoln Police say it happened just before 10 a.m. They say a pickup truck driving west on R Street violated a traffic signal at the intersection and was hit by a southbound minivan. The collision pushed the pickup into two other vehicles stopped at the light. Lincoln Fire & Rescue officials say all four people in the minivan, two adults and two children, were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the driver of the pickup was cited on scene.

Troopers say a 24-year-old man was killed in a crash early Saturday morning in Johnston County. It happened at Old Fairground Road at Massengill Pond Road around 3:15 a.m, less than three miles away from the driver's home. Authorities say Lucas Daniel Currin, of Benson, struck a warning sign, crossed over a driveway, and struck a pine tree. He later succumbed to his injuries. According to the property owner, who heard and saw everything, Currin hit the tree head-on.

A 16-year-old has died from her injuries after a car crash in South Euclid on Telhurst Rd, near South Green. The single car accident happened around 1p.m. Saturday when a Pontiac Grand Am struck a tree and then a telephone pole. According to the Cuyahoga County medical examiner’s office decedent list Karly Ciuprinskas has been identified as the deceased victim. Ciuprinskas was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other teens were in the car at the time of the accident. They were taken to an area hospital, their conditions are unknown at this time a South Euclid Police Sergeant said.

An officer is fighting for his life following an early Saturday morning crash that involved an alleged drunk driver. The crash happened around 12:16 a.m. on Station Road, just north Grafton Road in Liverpool Township. Ohio State Highway Troopers said Dalton P. Phillips, 23, of Columbia Station, was driving northbound on Station Rd. when he failed to negotiate a curve and drove off the east side of the road.

A motorcyclist was injured after a hit-and-run accident at Colorado Boulevard and 8th Street Saturday morning. Shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday, the Denver Police Department tweeted that there had been a hit-and-run accident at Colorado Boulevard and 8th Street involving a car and a motorcycle. DPD spokesman Sonny Jackson said a black car was traveling northbound on Colorado Boulevard when it struck a motorcyclist.

Officials don’t yet know how fast he was going, but 26-year-old Sergio Acero was riding his motorcycle fast enough around a curve to crash into a large concrete manhole cover. Chapel Hill police responded to a call that came in around 6:30 a.m. Saturday, and found Acero alive but severely injured along Estes Drive Extension near Seawell School Road. “It was a pretty bad crash,” said a Lt. with the Chapel Hill Police Department. “The motorcycle went one way and he went the other.” Acero died at UNC Hospital.

A 43-year-old Escondido man was killed in a crash Friday morning in San Bernardino, authorities said.

Tobias Gonzalez Lezama was driving a semi-truck with a trailer west on the Interstate 10 overpass off ramp to Interstate 215 when the vehicle struck the guard rail about 10:45 a.m., according to the San Bernardino County Coroner's Office.

Lezama suffered traumatic injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

The crash is under investigation

A Spokane man was injured in a snowmobile accident in the Coeur d’Alene National Forest on Saturday morning. Brian Davisson, 45, was ejected from his snowmobile and hit a snow drift near the Skitwish warming hut, according to a news release from Kootenai County Sheriff’s Dept. Davisson was then struck by another snowmobile, Higgins said. Emergency workers were summoned to the scene about 11:30 a.m. Davisson was treated at the warming hut and taken via helicopter to Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene with non-life-threatening injuries, Higgins said.
