Ty Rylander, 20, of Pittsfield, Illinois was driving southbound on U.S. Route 67 near CR 1150 N., which is Grant Street in Macomb, when his car crossed over the center line and into the path of a tractor trailer. Rylander was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed in the wreck. The semi driver was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured. Rylander was a student at Western Illinois University, and University Counseling Center staff are available for students and other members of the University community who wish to seek assistance.

Two Fond du Lac teens are deceased after a single-vehicle rollover crash on Sunday, November 16, on Triple T Road in the Town of Forest in Fond du Lac County. The accident happened when the driver of the vehicle lost control on a curve and rolled into a farm field. The driver, Brandon J. Mans, was ejected from the car and pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger, Ari E. Ebling-Hopf, was also pronounced dead at the scene. Weather may have been a factor, but speed definitely played a part in the accident.

A 16-year-old male was driving a Mustang, and lost control of the vehicle while turning onto East Chestnut Street. The Mustang veered onto the sidewalk and struck an 11-year-old boy, who was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle stopped when it struck the back of a nearby residence. Authorities are still investigating this accident.

The wreck happened at 6:35 a.m. Saturday on S.C. 414, when a teenage girl died in a single car accident Saturday morning in Greenville County. Samantha Milagros Rybikowsky, 17, of Holiday Road in Greer, died of blunt force trauma to the head.  Rybikowsky was driving westbound in a Honda Civic when it left the road and hit a tree. Rybikowsky, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.

A car containing two teenage boys was attempting to pass a vehicle that was in front of them, but ended up striking a third vehicle, departing the road, and finally coming to rest after running into a bridge rail. Both of the boys remain in the hospital in critical condition, but the driver of the vehicle that they struck was uninjured. At around 10:30am, a vehicle cotaining four people was traveling northbound when it crossed into the southbound lanes, struck the rear of one car, and then struck another car head-on. Of the people in that vehicle, John and Jenny Nguyen were pronounced dead at the scene, and the two other 16-year-old passengers in their vehicle were hospitalized. The three people in the vehicle that was struck head-on were also hospitalized, but the occupants of the other vehicle involved were uninjured.

At about 5:46am, a pickup truck containing Ragle as the driver and Giles as a passenger was traveling east on Stewart Road when Ragle lost control and the pickup truck turned sideways and began to skid. This also caused the truck to cross into the lane of oncoming traffic, where it was then hit by a garbage truck on the passenger side. Both teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Investigation into what caused Ragle to lose control is ongoing; check back as more information is released.

Just after midnight, a Honda was driving east on Kettleman Lane and was entering the intersection of Highway 88 just east of Lodi, California when it was hit by a Chevrolet driving south. Both cars spun out of control due to the force of the crash. The 22-year-old male driver of the Honda was declared dead at the scene, and his passenger, a 20-year-old woman from Galt, was sent to San Joaquin General Hospital with major injuries. The occupants of Chevrolet were identified as Nobel Tuliao, 39, Larmin Dumanon, 49, and Vilma Torres, 50.

Justin Johnson and Joseph Kelly, both 19, died after the car Kelly was driving went off the Southern State Parkway after failing to negotiate a turn at high speeds and slammed into the Franklin Avenue overpass in Valley Stream at about 12:30 a.m., police say. The vehicle caught on fire, and both teens were trapped inside. Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors.

Evelina Voyku, of Stockbridge, was driving south on Cole Street around 8:20 a.m. when she lost control of the 2003 Honda Pilot she was driving on a curve just south of Morris Road, police said. The vehicle rolled over until it hit a tree and came to stop. Her passengers were her younger siblings, ages 12, 11, 9, 7 and 6. They were transported to Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica. An 11-year-old female wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, and she is in serious condition.
