A Forestville man was charged with a felony count of driving while intoxicated after a two-vehicle collision Saturday in the Town of Villenova. Stephen Woolley, 58, of South Dayton-Silver Creek Road, was arrested after the 1:45 p.m. crash, in which no injuries were reported. He was charged with the felony because of a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years. Chautauqua County deputies said they added an aggravated DWI charge because Woolley’s blood alcohol reading exceeded 0.18 percent. He also was cited for failure to keep right.

A man was killed and another was injured in a two-boat collision during a racing event on a San Dimas lake Saturday morning, park officials say. The crash took place about 11:15 a.m. at Puddingstone Lake at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park near where the 10 and 57 freeways meet. The boats collided during a practice lap held on the second day of a scheduled three-day powerboat racing event hosted by the Southern California Outboard Association, park officials said. The identity of the 65-year-old man who died has not been released. The man who was injured was hospitalized.

A man is in the hospital after getting hit by a car in Comstock Township Saturday night. It happened at around 8:30 p.m. on Abbey Street near River Street. According to county investigators, Lloyd Dehollander was walking along Abbey Street when he was hit by a car. Authorities said it appeared Dehollander had been drinking. After the crash, Dehollander was transported to a hospital for treatment, but is expected to be okay. The driver of the car was not hurt.

A woman died after a collision that closed West San Marcos Boulevard in San Marcos Saturday afternoon, a sheriff’s official said. A pickup and an Infiniti sedan collided near Discovery Road about 4:20 p.m., a sheriff’s Lt. said. Two children, an infant and a 6-year-old, were reported to be in one of the vehicles, possibly the woman’s sedan, police said. The older child appeared to have some injury, he said. The woman died before she could be taken to a hospital. Deputies closed the boulevard between Las Posas Road and Knights Realm during the investigation.

The Spartanburg County coroner's office says a 75-year-old man died following a three-vehicle collision. The crash happened around noon Saturday on Camelot Drive. According to the coroner's office, Cecil Maria died after he crossed the centerline and hit two other vehicles. Witnesses told investigators that Maria appeared to be slumped over the car's steering wheel when the crash happened.

An 18-year-old man was struck and killed on the 5 Freeway in Sun Valley Saturday morning. The incident occurred just north of Tuxford Street around 4:20 a.m. Police say the teenager, later identified as Blake Cook, was a passenger in a Honda Accord that crashed with a big rig. As he and two others got out of the car and tried to get to safety, the victim was struck by another vehicle. That car then hit a second vehicle and sped off. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He has only been identified by police as a resident of the Saugus neighborhood in Santa Clarita.

Eleven people were injured after a five-vehicle collision on North Lamar Boulevard at 39 1/2 Street around 3:30 Saturday afternoon. Several EMS crews responded to the rollover accident. The first reports indicated at least one patient was trapped inside a vehicle. Additional paramedics responded to 39th Street and Medical Parkway for a report of another patient involved in the accident.

The Utah Highway Patrol says a roll over crash happened on Interstate-15 near Parowan Friday afternoon. A southbound vehicle blew a rear tire and it rolled off the highway. The vehicle came to rest on it's side. The 36-year-old male driver was uninjured in the crash, but his wife was pinned in the Ford Expedition and she had to be freed by the fire department. The woman sustained some moderate injuries in the crash, according to a UHP press release. Three children were also in the car and they were treated and released from a local hospital in Cedar City.

Pennsylvania State Police in York are investigating a single-vehicle accident in Lower Chanceford Township. Police say a car carrying four juveniles crashed into a tree on Brownton Road at Trinity Road around 6 a.m. Saturday. The 16-year-old male driver and two passengers were taken to York Hospital, according to police. State police say a fourth passenger, a 13-year-old female, was life flighted to Hershey Medical Center with serious injuries.

An Oklahoma man died Saturday after he was run over while trying to load groceries into his car in a store parking lot, police said. Raymond Carson, 54 of Ames, was at Walmart, 5505 W Owen K. Garriott Road, loading groceries into the back of his SUV when his 9-year-old grandson started the vehicle, Enid police said. The vehicle rolled back and ran over Carson then struck two more cars before coming to rest. Carson was taken to an Enid hospital where he later died.
