The driver and a passenger involved in a fatal DUII crash Sunday morning have been arrested.
Gawayne Streeter, 28, ran his Pontiac Grand Prix into a utility pole in Northeast Portland Sunday around 6 a.m., according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
Paul Williams, 24, of Portland was killed in the crash. He was a passenger in the vehicle.
Streeter and three other passengers suffered injuries, but they were not life-threatening, police said.
Police identified a man who died after he was shot and crashed his car Sunday morning.
Around 5 a.m., 43-year-old Edward Kelly Spangler of Grants Pass died in the 200 block of South Locust Street, according to Chief Brett Smith with Canby police.
Officers arrived to find citizens performing CPR on Spangler, who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police stated later Sunday morning that the man had suffered a gunshot wound but did not provide further details.
The eastbound lanes of U.S. 30 northwest of Portland near Harborton Drive remained blocked Saturday night following a landslide and minor-injury crash.
About 4:3o p.m., the driver of an eastbound car came upon the landslide and lost control of the vehicle as he attempted to avoid debris on the roadway. The vehicle rolled, coming to rest on its top, the Oregon State Police said.
The driver suffered a minor injury, but didn't need to be taken to the hospital. Oregon State Police, local emergency responders and ODOT are on scene.
A Woodburn man has died, following a crash earlier in the week on Highway 211, police said.
Investigators said a car driven by Nathaniel Payne,18, of Molalla was traveling northbound on Pudding River Road and failed to stop for a stop sign last Thursday. Payne’s car crashed into the driver's side of a van on Highway 211, causing the van to roll.
The driver of the van, Filomento Brito Landa, 55, of Woodburn, was ejected from the vehicle. He was airlifted to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center where he died on Monday, according to the Oregon State Police.

Oregon State Police have identified the man who died in a vehicle accident along U.S. 101 Monday afternoon as Bruce Norman Ashton of Lakeside.
OSP responded to the accident about 1:15 .m. Monday. When officers arrived at the scene, the found that Ashton, 68, had been driving along the highway in a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche near Kendall Estates Lane when the truck went off the pavement and hit several trees.
First responders found that Ashton was dead at the scene, even though he was using his seatbelt and the Avalanche’s airbags had deployed.
