Woman killed near exit 8 on St. Route 6.

A female pedestrian was struck and killed late Saturday afternoon on Route 6, the Massachusetts State Police reported.

The collision occurred near Exit 8 and the highway was closed between Exit 8 and Exit 7 while public safety officials worked at the scene.

5 taken to hospital after Falmouth crash

Five people were taken to the hospital following a single-car accident late Saturday night on Route 151.

Police responded to the accident in the area of Cloverfield Way at 11:43 p.m., according to Falmouth police.
