A 72-year-old man was snowmobiling with two other people in Empire Township when they crossed a road and he was struck by a car. The driver and passenger were not injured. THe man was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A 31-year-old Flint man died in a snowmobile crash on Houghton Lake at around 11:15 p.m. Saturday Roscommon County's Denton Township. Charles Pardo died at the scene. His snowmobile was the only vehicle involved in the accident.
