Washington has 39 Superior Courts, one in each of Washington's 39 counties. Superior Courts are the trial courts of general jurisdiction in Washington. A Superior Court may consider all civil and criminal matters occurring within a county's boundary. Highway 99 in Hazel Dell was blocked for about two hours Thursday evening after a three-car collision.

Nobody was injured in the collision, but both directions of the highway were closed near Northeast 112th Street because there was debris and gasoline on the roadway.

A 54-year-old motorcyclist lost control of his Harley Davidson and went off the road in the eastbound lanes of state Route 512 at 94th Street near the South Hill Mall, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A 15-year-old driver speeding faster than 100 mph before crashing into a Spokane Valley power pole Friday night was taking a couple of intoxicated friends to get tacos, according to police reports. Investigators want blood samples from the unlicensed driver.

The crash occurred at about 7 p.m.in the 1300 block of Beaver Lake Road, north of the town of Clear Lake. Trooper Mark Francis said the driver was wearing a seatbelt. The driver’s identity was not released, and no details about the cause of the crash are yet available.
