Police say 50-year-old Mary Fletcher of Kahului was on her moped, when she was hit from behind by a vehicle on Honoapiilani highway.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

It happened about 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning on Geiger Road near Essex Road.
Honolulu police say the 26-year-old man was traveling east on Geiger Road when he lost control of his moped.

Tue, 04/07/2015On Tuesday afternoon, Robert Pfleger of Holualoa was eastbound on Hina Lani Street when a westbound Jeep Cherokee driven by 31-year-old Anna Veverko of Kailua-Kona turned left and collided head-on with Pfleger's motorcycle. The Jeep then collided with a truck that was northbound on Kamanu Street.
