A person died Saturday in a fiery accident on Interstate 40. the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
The person, whose name has not been released, was driving a tractor-trailer about 10:40 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 40 about four miles east of Sallisaw.

Police here on Monday identified an officer and a man involved in a fatal automobile-pedestrian accident on Saturday. Adam Christopher Johnson, 33, of Yukon, was hit about 4:50 a.m. in the 400 block of S Ranchwood Boulevard by a Yukon police car driven by Cpl.

Christina Finney, 23, of Fort Cobb was killed in a Caddo County car accident.
Finney was driving south on a Caddo County road when the car left the road, struck an embankment and rolled onto its top, according to a patrol report.

Oklahoma City police are looking for a driver they say was involved in a hit-and-run accident with a MetroTransit bus. Officers say the crash occurred near North Classen Boulevard and Northwest 10th Street. Authorities say they are looking for a white truck that fled the scene.

Clark Vanpelt died about 4:45 a.m. Thursday on 106th Street North just east of 161st East Avenue, the patrol reported.
Vanpelt was dead at the scene from massive injuries.

Fred Keith Reddick 90, was driving about 9:55 a.m. Thursday northbound on U.S. Highway 270 near Beaver. His car drove off the roadway and went back across the roadway into a ditch. The car hit a tree stump and flipped, troopers said. Reddick was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Rebecca Ford was driving about 8:50 a.m. Wednesday westbound on State Highway 3 in Coal County. A semitrailer driven by Perell Monday, 56, of Enid, went left of center and hit a pickup and horse trailer driven by Logan Reed, 64, of Coalgate, troopers said.

A 43-year-old Oklahoma City man was killed in a collision in McClain County on Interstate 44 while trying to make an improper u-turn, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.
The man's name has been withheld pending notification of relatives, the patrol reports.
