One person was injured when scaffolding collapsed on four cars Friday night in Lincoln Park.
Scaffolding fell around 8:20 p.m. from the west side of an apartment building in the 2700 block of North Lakewood Avenue, damaging three parked cars and one more passing vehicle, a police News Affairs Officer said.
The male driver of the passing vehicle suffered minor lacerations on his hand. No other injuries were reported.
A series of wrecks caused a traffic nightmare for those heading into St. Charles County Friday morning.
The wrecks happened on westbound Interstate 70 at Interstate 270 around 6:15 a.m.
One of the vehicles involved in a wreck appeared to have hit a Missouri Highway Patrol car when being moved off the road. The patrol car sustained minor damage.
Another other car landed on its roof and settled in a ditch off the interstate.

A pedestrian was hit by a car and killed on snowy roads Saturday night. It happened just after 11 p.m. on M-37 near Butler Road in Baltimore Township in Barry County, according to Michigan State Police. The victim has been identified as Timothy Charles Nixon, 50, of Hastings. The driver was a 16-year-old from Hastings. Before the crash, Barry Central Dispatch had received a call about a man in dark clothing walking in the road near the area of the collision, MSP said. It was only a minute later that dispatchers received a call about the crash that killed Nixon.
Two people were taken to the hospital after a Wyoming crash. The crash happened around 12:45 Saturday afternoon on Gezon Parkway, east of Byron Center Ave. Emergency crews at the scene stated that a van and car crashed. One of the drivers was ejected from their vehicle, the other driver had to be cut out. Both drivers were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are not yet known.
