Pedestrian Accident

A pedestrian was struck and killed after being hit by two vehicles in the West End Tuesday night, police said. Police were sent to the 2100 block of Central Parkway shortly before 6:00 p.m.

A man is in critical condition at University Hospital after an alleged hit-and-run wreck Monday night on the Northwest Side.

A pedestrian was transported to the hospital Monday afternoon after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Upper Allen Township, according to township police. Mary Kay Quenzler, 67, of Mechanicsburg, was transported by ambulance to Holy Spirit Hospital with unspecified injuries.

Police in Grandview are investigating a fatal crash that happened early Monday morning. Officers say a person was struck and killed while trying to walk across the highway.

Police in Montcalm County are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a vehicle whose driver is accused of hitting a pedestrian and then fleeing the scene. Devon Lee Hollenbaugh, 20, was walking south on M-66 south of Holland Lake Road in Sidney, north of Sheridan, around 10:09 p.m. Dec. 6.

A woman and a child were hit by a car in Bay Terraces Monday morning. The pair were walking on Paradise Valley Road near Deep Dell Road when they were struck about 7:10 a.m., San Diego police said.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a driver who was involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash near Colorado Springs.

Austin police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash. It happened Saturday night at U.S. 71/W. Ben White Blvd. eastbound near S. 1st Street. Police say a man was trying to cross U.S. 71 when a car hit him. The car then struck another car. Both drivers stopped at the scene.
