A high-speed chase down I-80 ended in a deadly crash in Antelope — with twin brothers now arrested on murder charges. The suspects — identified as Ruslan and Roman Glukhoy, both 19 — then took the F-150 truck and took off down I-80, hitting speeds up to 100 mph, until they ended up in Antelope. There, the suspects hit a car turning left near Antelope and Antelope North Roads. Two people were inside the other car at the time of the crash. Antelope residents Jose Luis Barriga-Tovar, 35, and his 14-year-old daughter, later identified as Anahi Tover, died instantly.

A 23-year-old Burton man died in a crash this afternoon after he lost control of his motorcycle on Ohio 700, the Ohio Highway Patrol said. Gino Igoe was northbound on the road when his motorcycle crossed the center line at a curve and was struck by an oncoming car around 12:50 p.m.. Igoe was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet, the patrol report said. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash that occurred about a quarter of a mile south of Hubbard Road, the patrol said.

The driver involved in a multi-vehicle accident in College Station late this morning has died. According to the College Station Police Department, 50-year-old Clifford Degner from Caldwell was having serious medical issues when his pick-up truck struck the back of a Lexus sedan causing the two vehicles to become stuck together. When the car turned right on New Main Drive, the two vehicles detached. Witnesses say Degner was slumped over the wheel. His truck hit a tree, fence and brick wall at the front entrance of campus, before coming to a stop.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol says eight students were on a bus headed to Nashville Elementary School when it overturned around 7:30 Wednesday morning. It happened on Boddie Mill Pond Road a mile west of NC-58 in Nash County. Troopers said the bus driver reported he had problems with the vehicle's steering system and he could not keep it under control. The bus went down an embankment and overturned in a ravine.

Two people were hospitalized after crashing a vehicle into a piece of construction equipment on the east side of Columbus early Wednesday morning. According to Columbus police, the driver of an SUV traveling south on North Cassady Avenue in the area of East 13th Street was attempting to go around a backhoe that was backing into the street when the SUV struck the back of the piece of equipment at about 2:57 a.m. Police say the backhoe was backing out of a construction project in the area when the crash occurred.

The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a vehicle that hit a school bus on the Westside on Wednesday morning, then drove away. At 6:40 a.m. a school bus was rear-ended by an unknown Jeep Wrangler, according to FHP. The vehicle then fled the scene after the crash. Thirty-five students were on the bus at the time of the crash, but no injuries were reported according to FHP. The crash happened in the northbound lanes of Blanding Boulevard at Longchamp Road. The crash did not block any lanes of traffic, according to FHP. FHP is investigating the crash as a hit-and-run.

A girl in a stroller was critically injured after being hit by a car in the parking lot of a hospital early Wednesday morning. Her mother was also injured, and the driver was charged with DWI. Melissa Flynn and her daughter Aubrey were injured around 2:45 a.m. at the Alamance Regional Medical Center emergency room off Huffman Mill Road. Both were rushed to the nearby emergency room, which was their intended destination before the collision, Burlington police said.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a bus crash on the Westside, after a school bus rear-ended an SUV Wednesday morning. According to a FHP report, the school bus was traveling eastbound on 103rd Street at Old Middleburg Road, when the traffic in front of the bus stopped. The bus failed to stop and rear-ended a GMC Envoy. The crash happened at 8:15 a.m. and there were no students on the bus at the time, according to FHP. A spokesperson with Duval County Public Schools said the bus was assigned to Jefferson Davis Middle School and no injuries were reported.

A tractor-trailer carrying about 6,000 gallons of liquid asphalt has struck a tractor mowing the median on westbound Interstate 40 in Pender County. The Pender County Emergency Management Director said the mower operator drifted into the roadway and into the path of the 18-wheeler around 1 p.m. Tuesday. He said the man was thrown about 30 feet by the impact. Collins said the unidentified driver was conscious when he was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
